    Quick question about HT

If you do HT and it doesn't "take" or you miscarry, what next? What are your options? Is FET with leftover embryos usually fairly successful, and is it significantly less expensive?

My biggest fear of HT is flushing thousands down the toilet for nothing. I can only imagine the utter devastation I'd feel afterwards.

I've had a few miscarriages so I know how easily these can things happen. I wish there was some kind of insurance!

    Hi lemonade,
I can understand your financial concerns. It is a very expensive undertaking. My DH and I went into with the acceptance that we may not get what we want, but we only live once and we have to give it a go or we'll regret it.
I have done a lot of research into HT GS and I am also a nurse and completely understand everything I have researched and as far as I know FET are just as successful as fresh transfer. I was actually told by a fertility specialist at one clinic that their clinic seemed to have greater success with FET.

I hope this info has helped, I wish you all the best what ever you decide to do.
