Question about Atomic's Fertility Diet
Hi. Can I ask about the HT fertility die, the one if you've been swaying for a long time. It says to avoid wheat and corn. How about Oats, Rye, Buckwheat and Spelt? And am I right that I'd need to eat meat/fish every day, either chicken, turkey, pork or salmon (salmon only twice a week)? Generally to eat healthier food, to drop candy, soda, wheat, processed foods and add in meat/fish, butter, cheese. And I don't need to track calories, protein or fat? Should I take supplements like Omega 3, vitamin B complex, vitamin E and zinc to get healthier again? What should DH take to maximise spermatogenesis health?

According to the Perfect Health Diet (which the name sounds very hokey I realize but is this very well researched and science based diet) many of the grain foods have chemical components in them (naturally occuring) and/or may be contaminated by molds that can be harmful to overall health and fertility. They only eat rice on that diet and avoid the other things because of the chemicals and after I read the book I think they may be onto something. The gluten free diets have also gotten great results for us for swaying pink. Oats may be bad in a couple different ways, both because of the chemistry and also because they sway blue.
So, long story short, the reason why you only eat rice and higher carb veg on the strictest form of AFD when going HT, is because firstly the chemicals in some grains may not be good for your fertility overall, and secondly because some of them may sway blue.
Only white rice and higher carb starchy veg like potato, taro, yam, sweet potato is allowed on the AFD.Last edited by atomic sagebrush; March 30th, 2015 at 01:45 PM.

Oh whoops hit send too soon.
Yes, you'd need to eat small amounts of meat and eggs on AFD esp when going HT.
Wheat is not allowed at all. CAndy, soda, processed foods, sugar, etc are not allowed. You want lower carbs when going HT becasue this may make your odds of success higher.
You don't need to track when going HT. People who are swaying may still want to track.
Supplements on AFD for swaying are the same as always. But if you're going HT, you would want to have you and your husband take the supps that they recommend in the doses they recommend and somoen will chime in and fill in the blanks for us. Most will want to give hubby OLE!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

I just thought of another food group I've been avoiding on LE due to high protein and healthy fats - nuts. Are these good on AFD? Ta

It's free! Not really meal plans but just a HT-friendly version of HE Diet and you can find that in this thread, 5 from the top http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...rt-3-pcos.html It's atomic fertility diet and you would follow the variation for blue swayers going HT.
