    Newbie! greetings fellow swayers!

    Hello!
I'm 41 and have no children yet despite trying the past few years. I had a couple chemicals/early mc's before realizing that half my problem was my autoimmune disorder (overactive immune system) causing my own system to reject implantation I'm treating for that now, so the past few cycles I've just been taking care of the ol' bod, and ttc.

I've always wanted a girl, and luckily my dh is on board with that, lol! I'd heard of the Shettles method, and knew there was something about diet that I should look into, but I am truly amazed by the depth and thoroughness of Atomic Sagebrush's research! Wow, my hats off to you, and I am now working on the LE diet, lowering even calc-mag, dropping the prenatals I was taking, and using an opk.

Looks like it'll be time to dtd in the next few days, so I'll be crossing fingers during the 2ww soon! If it doesn't happen for us (gettin' old...ha!) , we'll likely adopt, but we definitely wanted to try for a girl first.

Oh, and one pink sway recipe suggestion: japanese style onigiri! They're a plain riceball with some bite of fish or something in the middle. I'm thinking I'll ditch the fish and put a little vinegared cucumber inside tomorrow! Also, I'm not eating the toasted seaweed wrapper since there's too many good vitamins in it, lol.

Looking forward to 'meeting' you ladies!

Welcome! I am doing a healthy egg sway for this baby (I'm 40), cuz I just want one more baby! Just remember, boosting fertility sways boy, and girl sways often end up lowering fertility. Good luck!

Thanks! Yah, I'm having to walk a bit of a tightrope... without treating the autoimmune disorder, I have zero chance of conceiving, but if I make myself too healthy, it'll sway boy! Of course, I'll be happy with a healthy baby, but my head just can't imagine anything but a girl, lol...

Hoping that the meds will allow implantation, and the 'terrible diet' will sway it pink ;-)

The meds I'm on basically slow down my immune system bigtime, so unlike Clomid (which I hear sways boy), I'm hoping that having a low immune response might not affect one way or the other... wonder if Atomic knows of any research that direction?

Clomid has actually swayed pink for a lot of people on here, but not certain about auto immune meds. Good luck.
