New Army Wife here

Hello, I'm Racheal (27) and have been married and TTC to my hubby Chris (27) for 5 years. We have survived 2 deployments together and are stationed in California. I went on the Ricki Lake show and met Dr Potter there. Since that show I have a final diagnosis of infertility. My tubes are non functional and now we are trying to decide what the next step is since it's a huge financial risk. My heart wants to try IVF so badly and I know if I do Dr Potter is my choice. But it's such a big step. I also want to help and raise awareness to anyone and everyone who is going through infertility as it can feel like such a lonely road. I hope someday we can finally say we are expecting our little sea turtle!

We still haven't decided yet but I did call my OB and ask for my referral to HRC to get my consultation. I really don't think I'm quite ready to give up. So I am trying to exhaust every option before adoption. It's a very scary journey to take and it's nice to see some other military wives as it's hard to find them on post since infertility is usually a taboo subject. <3
