TTC a girl and antihistamines
Hi everyone! I've been following GD for a while now, and just made my first posts last night. We are planning to BD tonight and tomorrow (three days prior to ovulation) after a close adherence to the LE diet and losing 15 pounds. I thought I'd try benedryl, but after all my reading, I am unclear if I should take it an hour prior to BD or on the day I am ovulating or all three days. Thanks for any suggestions!

it would be before BD - it affects the CM in the vagina/cervix, and by ovulation the swimmers have already gone through and are waiting for the egg in the fallopian tubes so dryer CM wouldn't affect them there

On the back of that - is an hour or so long enough for anti-histamines to take effect? Or is a few hours a better bet?
Also do people TTC pink take anti-histamines daily while they DTD or only on actual DTD days?! Hope that made sense!
Thanks x

I don't know about Benadryl, I think that one is an hour but I didn't try it so don't know for certain
antihistamines can be taken either on BD days or every day in the fertile window, I'm not sure it matters. I think I'll be taking them every day in the fertile window this time so new CM is nipped in the bud.

2 weeks before. Keep in mind that many people think they actually sway blue and WANT to be on them for their sway. OPK are fallible. We use them because it's the best technology we have, but...
