M3B
Hello ladies...
I have three incredible sons whom I love dearly. I tried IVF/PGD as an allegedly "last" attempt to add a little pink and only one embryo survived and had BFN... So here I am...grateful for my sons and a heart-broken about the "chemical" pregnancy.
Cheers

I cycled in St. Louis. I'm 35. Never had any problems with any of my prior pregnancies - always got pregnant almost immediately and no problems otherwise with my boys. I really had thought this IVF/PGD was going to work...I feel like a fool. Unfortunately only had three viable embryos and only one made it to blast. That was the only one we had. Sigh...
Thanks for welcoming me. It is nice to know I am not alone.

What was your pretesting like? AMH? FSH? AFC? What protocol and dose were you on?

Goodness... I don't really know about my lab results. I can find out though. I was on follistim 150 units subcu for about two weeks prior to retrieval. About a week into the process i started ganirelix 250mc subcu daily. i feel like there was another med i was on but i can't remember. i definitely can find out about all of that. funny, i guess i just thought i'd pay my money, do whatever the doctor said to do, and have a baby girl. but didn't quite work out that way.

150 is about the lowest dose you can be on. If you went to a doctor that doesn't do a lot of GS, they can make tons of assumptions about fertile women and IVF.
At 35, unless you have ovaries of a rockstar, 150 is pretty low. 10-12 days is average time on stims. I would love to know how your estrogen(e2) level did during your cycle.
So, don't feel too down. A change in protocol or dosage may be all you need! A second opinion(consult) is a must!
I had poor pretesting at 34. I was on 450 of follistim(same as gonal) plus 150 of repronex! 150 is nothing!Mom to

2 weeks before. Keep in mind that many people think they actually sway blue and WANT to be on them for their sway. OPK are fallible. We use them because it's the best technology we have, but...
