Newbie :)
Hi I am new here.
In 6 months time my DP has given me the go ahead to try for another baby !!
Together we have 1 son and he has 3 sons from a previous relationship.
So all up we have 4 boys here and want to sway for a girl.
I want to try everything possible so i have no regrets, i am just starting to research all the info I need to sway pink.
My plan is use the next 5 months to get fit and lose 5 kilos, then start the girl diet 8 weeks before trying.

I would consider not losing the weight until just before. I.e. don't try to lose weight until you start the diet. Oftentimes, if you don't have much weight to lose, it can make the LE diet a struggle and then you risk losing ovulation if you lose too much.
My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

Yeah, it depends in how much weight you want to lose, but you really need to time it well. I spent 2 months on diet, lost 14 pounds before attempt, but got a bfn. I can only healthily afford to lose another 5 pounds now but not TTC again until June! So gonna just keep stable until a few weeks beforehand I think. And definitely get a plan in about 3 months time!! Sooooo worth it! Good luck and welcome :-)
