Travelling from Australia to HRC Fertility for PGD Gender Selection
Hi
I'm in Perth, Australia. I've just been to US to get my daughter at HRC. I saw Dr Potter. If anyone needs any help or advice, I'm happy to help. Would love to hear others experiences.

It cost me about $35000. I was lucky to go but I thought I didn't have a choice. Dr Potter told me that because the Aust. Govt fund some of the Ivf here, he reckons that's why they dont want to make it available.

Hi Pinkinperth, I actually just posted a post in the members section today asking if any Perth girls have been to HRC? I'd love to hear about your experience and I was wanting to know how did you go about getting referrals for pre testing, medsetc.. in Perth?

Hi Pinkdreamz. My gp prescribed all my meds. I think they cost more that way but didn't have much of a choice. I rang up fertility north early in the process and they said they would have to get their medical director to ok it so I assumed that meant they didn't normally help patients going overseas. I told my gp the truth and he fully supported me. Prescribed everything my US doctors asked for. Good luck!
