I am at 12 DPO today, AF is starting

I have a 28-29 days cycle,my O is always at 16 CD ( is it too late ?) and at 8-10 DPO I get spottings.
I have had only one attemp at month. One month 12 hours before +opks and other month 12 hours after + opks.
What should I do different for the next month. I start losing my hope for a BFP without doctors help at all

O on CD 16 is fine.

NO more attempts 12 hours after positive OPK if you can help it, that is too late for some people.

I would have you guys BD every 4 days and then if you want to, you can add in one more attempt at positive OPK (that night, not 12 hours later if you can help it) Adding that second attempt will up odds of conception but may be slightly more blue friendly than just doing every 4 days.
