4 boys at 40 - do I risk a sway?
Hi
I have been going over this site for almost a year as an observer soaking it all in.
About me:
For my first boy I had been a vegetarian for 2 yrs.
For my second and third I was high protein.
For my 4th a friend told me to use vinegar douche.
I'm always thin but get HUGE when pregnant.
125 at pregnancy and usually 170+ at birth. Big boys 8.5, 9.75, 9.25, 9.45
I don't ovulate for atleast 15 months due to breastfeeding.
I am usually back to 130 in 12 -18 weeks after birth. I have a hard time keeping weight on even at 40.
I have been ovulating again for 3 months.
I'm Still nursing but he eats solids as well for every meal.
Interesting facts:
I have never ate dairy but have had high sodium/potassium intake. I eat all organic/non (GMO)
I don't drink juice- just a lot of water and tea
I did have coffee with all boys
I do eat a lot of calories to maintain the little body fat that I do have. I have a very high metabolism.
I don't usually eat sweets like ice cream or candy bars. I Dont like chocolate I do like white chocolate but rarely eat it.
Questions
Do I go dairy heavy (low fat and no fat) with a high calcium, low sodium, low potassium diet(saw study from England that was 80% girl result for women who had previously had boys, some of the women even had 3 boys) also everyone I meet who has all boys does not drink milk)
Vitex
Folic acid
No caffeine
Peppermint tea
Aspertane
No meat
No tomatoe
No avocado - Ahhh my favorite food!!
Or
Do I stay healthy(had no trouble conceiving my youngest at 39) and not sway at all and accept the boy that will surely come just to ensure I can get pregnant?
Any advice would be great.

Hi and welcome! I don't really agree with boy moms never drink milk. With both my boys, I drank lots of (2%) milk pretty much every day. I also had a rather dairy heavy diet back then (hello cheese and yogurt!) as well and many boy moms here say the same so I don't think lots of dairy always equals more girls. Dairy in general is very nutrient dense. I think tomatoes are fine though, so no need to avoid that IMO.

Hi there. I would recommend a personalized plan for you. At 40, if this is your last shot, I would want to do everything possible to sway your odds. Too much calcium can sway boy so watch out for too much dairy!

Hi and thanks to both of you for your reply.
Re: personalized plan - I bought the girl diet info from the site for $50 or $60 and did not get any use out of it. It was mostly recipes. I need a quick grab list due to my busy lifestyle.
I work full time and take the youngest to work with me. Then I have the teenager, middle schooler and 4th grader, so you can imagine how cooking a special meal for myself does not work. Is it possible to get a personalized menu that is more of a raw/grab and go type thing? If so - does it cost more for that?
Thanks Again for all of your help.
Sooooo Appreciate it!

I did!
I can assure ya that there are PLENTY of ladies out here in the universe like me who got all boys doing tons of dairy. My 3rd and 4th son I was taking cal-mag supplements and doing a full on sway with DS 4 where I was taking a scary amount of the stuff. I dropped it all and both my DH and I barely ate any dairy when we got our DD. I will leave the choice up to you on that, it was easy for me to give up on after 4 boys with dairy/calcium.
I have your questionnaire so I will take the time that I would have spent answering this post and do your plan.!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

If I ever get pregnant I can help with several of the European countries, especially if you have a US list for me to mimic. Going to the grocery store, especially visiting one for the first time, is literally my FAVOURITE thing to do outside the home. I'd love to visit major grocery stores/eatery chains throughout Europe and read the nutritional info and make lists! That would be so much fun for me.
My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after removìng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

Hi
Thank you
Looking forward to the plan- I can make some meals and freeze them for the week but I can also just have raw- like raw broccoli, tomatoes etc- it sounds strange but if it fits the plan that would be great because I eat that way now15 yrs -

I think raw veg are great for pink and we have had good results with eating a lot of low carb veg like that. THey are actually free and limitless you can have all the raw broccoli you'd like, no need to count it!

I successfully had my girl nearly 3 years ago thanks to an awesome plan from atomic. I have just started on Ozempic to try and lose some weight due to PCOS and it’s working well. Does anyone...
