Big Smile Kind of new! Swaying pink!

    Hi!

I was here last year but we decided to hold off on another baby until my daughter is at least 3. She's 3 in June and I am hoping to TTC in September for a 4-year gap.

I have just been diagnosed as insulin resistant/elevated A1C (I had GD as well, and it's probably genetic) so I will probably need to adjust the LE diet a little to ensure that I don't end up

When I conceived my daughter I had lost about 20lb on a low calorie but probably not LE diet (I ate red meat occasionally, basically I ate whatever as long as I ended up under 1200-1500kcal a day -I will say I was cooking dinners where meat was not necessarily the star of the show) and I was doing Barre classes 4-5 days a week. I was skipping breakfast and just having a light SB frappucino (130ckal) around 10am every day.

Things that are different this time - I take Lexapro and Wellbutrin for anxiety and depression, I have a little more stress as I work as a freelancer and I am now insulin resistant. I am hoping I can overcome these things to have a little sister for my daughter!

My husband will pretty much eat what I give him for dinner but breakfast and lunch I have zero control over. He does wear tighty whities and his primary form of exercise is spin classes - I am going to try and get him to do them 2-3x a week instead of the 1x he has been doing lately.

So that's me. Glad to be back and hoping that I can add more pink to my home in 2018!

Hi and welcome! I would suggest you follow one of the alternate diets in this thread: http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...rt-3-pcos.html

Most of our hubbies didn't do much in the way of diet. Husbands do not need to follow LE Diet.

Thanks a lot, I'll look there!

I'm hoping his cycling, hot showers a few hours before bed, and tighty whities will do the job

Great. He's only been doing it sporadically but he usually ups his fitness game through summer so I'll encourage him doing it as much as possible.

For me, is 60m of fast walking/moderate elliptical 4 times a week enough cardio until maybe 6 weeks out from TTC? Fitting in 6x a week is just hard for me.

Great thanks. I'm also trying to do a fast 10-15m walk after every meal to bring down blood sugar. I remember that's what I had to do when I had gestational diabetes so I figure it can only help with insulting resistance.

As long as that's tacked onto the 60 minutes most of the time, that's fine!

So, my husband has been diagnosed Wellbutrin for anxiety and mild depression today. Does this sway pink or blue? I'm glad he'll be taking them regardless just wondering if I should be aware of anything re: how it sways to prepare myself!

Oh the plus side we are hoping it gives him more motivation to exercise so hopefully he will be cycling a lot more.

I also take Wellbutrin and Lexapro.

Sways pink. Do be aware though it can lower sperm quality as can the cycling so if we go several months with BFN we may need to dial it back on the cycling.

You will need to talk to your doc about your plans to TTC since you may not want to be on the Wellbutrin/Lexapro during pregnancy.
