WWY choose for abstinence 16 or 7

For my one attempt this cycle I have one of two options. DH can abstain 17 days until my opk. Or 6. Dh is healthy 36 no sperm issues, on cranberry and licorice root. Not exercising but walks a lot over the day. Last ttc si I want to give it my best shot.

I guess he can do it on his own. But we wont be able to DTD other than those two dates. I O a little late and not regular. So I dont want to risk it.

Which would you choose. How long is too long? I want sperm count lowered.

I would go with 6, think 17 is too long and dont think Atomic recommends that in over 35s

I do not recommend abstain for men over 35 and you can read about that here: https://www.genderdreaming.com/forum...over-35-a.html

But if you want to try that, 6 days instead of 17. 17 is too long for anyone. It will either kill too many sperm or he will have a wet dream and ruin the abstain anyway.
