Hello,
I discovered this forum while looking for information on TTC twins. I have 1 daughter already and would love B/B twins but to be honest I'm interested in TTC twins of any gender. I hope to start TTC again in December so i have 6/7 months to plan. I'm wondering if there is anything I should start doing now to sway for twins.
I hope it's ok to post this here.
Thank you

Hi and welcome! The good news is that the HE Diet + full fat dairy is a great way to boost your chances of twinning http://genderdreaming.com/forum/tryi...l-version.html
Be sure you're taking extra folate and also a prenatal vitamin that does not ahve any weird herbs and also no multidose nutrients (except for Vit. D) such as Women's One a Day.
Your best bet of twins will be Clomid or Femara if you can get them.

Thank you so much for such a fast reply! Clomid and Femara aren't an option unfortunately. We also have a morphology problem so TTC twins might be a tall order as it is, but a girl can dream eh?
Should I be taking the folate (or folic acid?) now even though we won't be TTC until December? I will read the HE diet link and start implementing it now.
Thank you again, I appreciate your advice

I would just start a multivitamin like Women's One a Day (the regular orange one, not the prenatal one, which is weirdly inferior!) Also I'd have you on probiotics right now! We may add in some other nutrients closer to the sway but for now I don't think you need anything beyond that.
I would get your partner on a men's vitamin like Men's one a day over 50 (no, I don't have any affiliation with One a Day, LOL, I just like those ones because they don't contain weird herbs and have good levels of a wide array of nutrients) even if he isn't 50. And he should take the probiotics. Closer to the sway we may add in some other nutrients for him.

Hi,
We have been taking the one a day, probiotics and we have both been on folic acid (dr said hubby was deficient in folate so he's on them too) I am now about 2 months away from starting TTC again and am still hoping to try and sway for twins. To be honest we aren't overly concerned by gender. Now that we are getting close is there anything else we should be trying to boost our chances? We might still have a morphology issue but won't be allowed another analysis until we have been TTC 12 months but the last time we were trying it was a consistent issue over 3 different tests.
Thank you very much for your time, I appreciate it.

I think you're on the right track, but having full fat dairy every day will help! Some believe eating yams and sweet potatoes may help a little.
