Praying for pink 🙏🏻💕
Hi, I’m 37 years old from the UK and have an 18 month old beautiful boy who’s the light of my life. As age is creeping up on me faster than lightning I need to get started on trying for my second baby.
Admittedly I had pretty bad gender disappointment when I paid private for a gender scan at 16 weeks. More so because my husband has 3 boys from his previous relationship so I knew I was only going to be able to have 1 or 2 babies at maximum and I always pictured myself with a girl.......I was glad I found out at 16 weeks as by the time I was full term I had cried my tears, fully accepted it and felt nothing but excitement.
The time has came to try again and I think I’ve read everything there is online about Girl sway. I’ve veen charting for 6 months with opk/ temps etc so I’m good to go with that side of things but the diet informant ion is mind blowing and lots of mixed information. I think LE is best for me and find it easy to skip breakfast .......
I thought I had it worked out but have just read this morning about coffee and wine helping girl sway. I’m confused as thought caffeine had to be eliminated. Or does this mean caffeine free coffee ?! Please can you confirm this for me xxx
And lastly my husbands PH is 9..... I’ve read both that PH doesn’t matter but I’m confused as to why husband must change diet too if this is the case xx
My PH is currently 6 but only done it once on CD 7
Sorry for all the questions, I’ve read multiple posts on here to try and find the answers and can’t seem to reach a conclusion ...
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and welcoming me to the forum xx

There is mixed info because there are several different theories of swaying. Many of us on here got boys doing things the "old school" way and that's why I made the LE Diet, to try and eliminate the nonsense that has been debunked and focus on the things that really work. I am here to answer any and all q's you have about diet and stuff and I'm always happy to explain why there are differences, so please don't hesitate to ask about anything that seems confusing. There's always a reason why!
Coffee and alcohol both sway pink and we have the results to prove it. I have a full explanation about why this is and why the other sites are wrong in their claims here: https://www.genderdreaming.com/forum...s-swaying.html
Husband doesn't need to change diet. It is your body that carries a baby for 9 months and then feeds it for 9-18 more months and raises a child for 18 years after that. This means your diet matters and DH only matters in the smallest sense. If you want to ask him to cut back on red meat, all meat, even go fully vegan that may help a bit but he DOES NOT need to follow the full LE Diet and indeed, most of our husbands did nothing to sway. The reasoning for DH changing his diet has to do with hormones and sperm count, just to answer your question, though.
What are you testing for pH??? Urine?

Thank you so much for getting back to me.
I tested Cervical mucous and sperm. Is this correct ?! And for me once lowered will Ph remain the same from end of AF to O if diet maintained or does it fluctuate ?

Yes that's right, just making sure as some people will test urine instead.
pH fluctuates. But the good thing is, it probably doesn't even work for swaying anyway. More about that here: https://www.genderdreaming.com/forum...ph-pickle.html

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
