TTC after miscarriage
Hi,
I’m relatively new. So I’ve been blessed with 2 girls and a boy. Last week I had a miscarriage. I thought I was 12 weeks but the baby had died between 8 & 9 weeks. We hadn’t really been trying to get pregnant but hadn’t been being super careful not to either. Anyway it’s definitely clarified that we would both welcome another baby.
I’d love another boy so I’ll try to sway blue as much as I can. I’m 41 though so time is obviously an issue. We’re going to wait at least one cycle before trying again.
Any advice on must do’s to sway blue?
I’m already about 2kg up on normal as I was really really hungry during that last pregnancy. I’m a snacker and I’m aiming to up the protein a bit. I’ve been taking a pregnancy multivitamin, coq10 and fish oil.
Any other advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Hi and welcome etakof. So very sorry to learn of your loss.
I would keep doing exactly what you have already been doing and possibly add in some light weight training if you feel up to it. Try to get as much rest as you can and do what you need to do to recover.
What is your husband doing?? Anythign?? I would have him for sure releasing every 2-4 days, either on his own or with you, with a condom, to make sure he's making a good level of healthy sperm. Since sperm take about 75 days to form it is never too soon to start this! I have my full guide to swaying after a loss here: https://www.genderdreaming.com/forum...scarriage.html

Thanks Atomic.
I’m doing ok. My three beautiful babies keep me busy so I can’t feel sorry for myself for long and I know I’m a lot luckier than some.
DH is taking Fertilisan M (that is when I remind him ) he is generally pretty healthy and so far we’ve had no problems actually getting pregnant but I figured they couldn’t hurt.
Should I increase my folic acid also? The supplement I take has 800ug. It’s called Elevit.

yes just continue with the Fertilisan.
I think you may be better off boosting that up to 1600/2000 range.

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
