Hello! Mom of 2 boys planning girl sway! 🎀

    Hi, everyone!

I’m a 31yo mama to an almost 4yo boy & a 2yo boy. They were unplanned but very welcome! And they were both products of failed pullouts. So I know shallow release is not the answer. Either that or my DH is just really bad at it. Either way...

My husband (35yo) and I would love to add a baby girl to the mix.

I’ve been reading anything and everything that remotely looks like it could scientifically make sense and sway.

    What I’m doing:

    14hr fasting from 10pm-12pm everyday
LE diet (sticking to recommended limits and avoiding dairy, pork, & beef)
    60min walking 4-5 days a week
    1600mcg Folate
    1200mg Ceylon Cinnamon
    Fiber before meals
    2-3 cups of coffee everyday
    Peppermint tea every night
    Alcoholic beverage almost everyday
Replens every 3-4 days (although i might stop this)

Plan to do one attempt at positive OPK.

Anything I should add or edit?

I’ve really enjoyed reading the threads here!!!

Unless you have moderate to severe PCOS and more than 30 lbs to lose you do not need and should not take cinnamon.

I don't recommend pep tea much any more but since you're younger and have some time to play with sway tactics that is fine.

Replens hasn't worked for us but again if you want to try it, totally at your discretion.

    Everything else looks great!

    Thanks for your reply!!!

I’m going to stop the peppermint tea! I can’t even remember why I added it other than I saw it in pink sways, and I enjoy drinking it. Does it alter women’s cycles?

I have 25lbs until I’m in a “normal BMI.” I’ve been averaging about 0.5-1lb/week loss with the current regimen, so the weight isn’t flying off Although lately we have had to attend more social events, I feel like I’ve done relatively well navigating them. Is there a goal regarding weight loss? Or just any/not gaining is good?

Oh, and DH is starting on OLE tomorrow. That’s the only thing he is doing for the sway. Other than BD.

Yes the pep tea can really muck up cycles! Can delay ovulation and shorten LP.

That's a good rate of weight loss. I actually prefer that rather than seeing people lose massive amounts of weight very quickly. As long as you're not gaining that's great, and if you're actively losing even better.
