I am a little confused then.... Doing a quick look into what foods are high in omega 6. nearly everything I ate back when my boys were conceived was high in omega 6. But my omega 3 intake was on the low side.
I think anyone trying for a boy should have a high omega (all them) intake but anyone going for a girl should run away and hide from them!2007

I'd been taking omega 3 only (no omega 6) to improve my uterine lining and make implantation easier because I have a luteal phase defect so want to give that egg every chance of implanting in time, but now I'm reconsidering! you're supposed to get more CM but I haven't noticed an increase.
perhaps it's one of those things that works in lambs but not in humans

Pea silage has 18% protein. Oat forage has 7% protein. the content of fats may be a red herring or only a PART of why the difference in diet sways. This is like those cow studies from the FGD where they only looked at the mineral content of the cows' diets but in reality different feeds have different EVERYTHING content.
I have actually looked into this some and there ~may~ be something there which is why I would rather see people NOT eat nuts, olive oil, for pink sway. Also why i think unsalted margarine may be best for pink.
Two concerns - 1) some diseases that cause inflammation, seem to sway BLUE - rheumatoid arthritis in women and allergies - I don't know why but my thinking is that it ~may~ be because when your body is inflamed you're producing more of certain hormones like cortisol and also more mucus, so your body increases mucus production everywhere regardless of where the inflammation is.
2) EAting JUST omega 6 is not very healthy at all whatsoever (can cause cancer and heart disease) so I ~personally~ would not have you guys load up on Omega 6's. It is ENOUGH just to lower your meat intake and up grain intake.
Also, I don't think we should be eating much oatmeal for pink due to the avenocasides that can raise testosterone. It worked for sheep that were ONLY eating oatmeal, but in a more varied diet, I believe oatmeal is one of the few foods that really does sway in one direction.Last edited by atomic sagebrush; December 26th, 2011 at 10:44 AM.

I edited my post for more clarity but to reiterate, anything containing large amounts of healthy fats like nuts, olive oil, avocado, fish, is best avoided for pink and should be eaten by blue swayers.
