Could my partners family history determine gender?

I'm currently 25 weeks and my partner and I have decided to wait until birth as this is our first child. However this has not stopped me from visiting this site everyday to try and get some comparisons with my own pregnancy lol.
As my partner determines the sex of the baby, I was wondering if the sex of his brothers children would have any influence on our child? He is 1 of 4 boys born, his eldest brother has 1 boy and 1 girl and another brother has 2 girls.
I thought as he has no sisters the likelihood would be boy but it is in fact the opposite so far. Is there a method to my madness or am I looking too much into things?

I don't think so. My hubby has one sister and one brother. His brother has three girls and one boy. So far my hubby had a daughter from a previous relationship and two boys with me. I wish there was a correlation, but from what I have seen there isn't...

    Nope. Not a correlation.

If you read a few of the essays, you will find that males are not solely responsible for gender determination. There are tons of female factors at play that help determine which sperm is attracted to the egg.

Additionally, all men make both girl and boy sperm in equal amounts, so the balancing of families is a combination of pure luck and personality attributed among family members (since certain personalities can be attributed to more of one gender or the other).

-Our sway and pray little diva (J: 2013)
-Our lucky charm guy (S: 2015)
We may be done, we may come back for one more sway. Time will tell. At the moment, we are very content with our family!
