    What is considered the 1st cycle after a mc?

    It is the first time you ovulate? Or the first time you get AF?
    If i ovulate before my first AF, is that my first cycle or the next?

    We want to try asap, but I'm swaying blue

    I would consider myself being on my first cycle after my miscarriage 3 weeks ago. I O'd 21 days after the start of my miscarriage. I haven't had AF yet (due in 1 week).
    Me: 35 years old. Was an infant nanny and birth and postpartum doula. Now a full time SAHM.
    DS1: Aug 2003 (my first home birthed water baby!)
    DS2: May 2009 (my second home birthed water baby!)
    Oct 2014
    July 2016: Laproscopic surgery to remove a ping pong ball sized endometrioma on left ovary and 3 pea size fibroids on outside of uterus. Hysteroscopy to remove one larger "penetrating fibroid" inside uterus.
    Oct 2016: Heartbroken after DH's vasectomy. Looks like my dreams of a daughter are gone.

    I would wait until at least AF when swaying blue. would not TTC to catch that first egg. IT can still be a boy of course but think best odds come from waiting.

    Thank you ladies! I think we're going to wait until after Christmas either way. Hopefully that is at least my 2nd cycle. I'm going Friday for a D&C. I don't have the heart to wait another 4+ weeks for a natural mc...no cramping or spotting yet
