Pink spotting IS normal. Hot flashes can also be normal, because there's a lot of hormonal stuff going on in those early days. Estrogen really doesn't start going sky high until after the placenta is pretty well developed so hot flashes prior to 9-10 weeks are normal. After 9 weeks, best to see a doctor if they suddenly start up out of the blue (if it's been happening all along, it's prob. fine and just one of those things.)

People just want you to be safe and if you're worried about miscarriage, then it's just best to see a doctor. They can't always do anything, but sometimes they have access to blood tests that can put your mind at ease.

I think normal hormonal fluctuations can cause hot flashes and early pregnancy certainly means hormonal changes!! I think that is probably fine! I also spotted with DD1 and bled with DS so that too can be typical. Hope all is well and Congrats!
