Freaking out a little bit

So I've been really sick for the past four weeks. In addition to near constant ms, I've had a really bad cold for the past two weeks. Sheer. Misery. I work at a small office so I don't have coverage for sick days and I made myself go into but I really didn't want to. I am 10w3d and had some brown spotting. I'm hoping its nothing. But I've been so stressed out with working and feeling so icky. I had a u/s at 9w and the lo had a 186 heart beat and measured 9w3d so it was perfectly healthy. Any body else had this kind of spotting and been fine? Or should I get checked out?

I'd get it checked out anyway just to reassure yourself if nothing else

I have had a really bad cold all week and had spotting yesterday. I'm 17 weeks so my doctor said I should get checked at the ER (since it was a Sunday and the office was closed). All was fine, he said I probably popped a blood vessel in my cervix from coughing or sneezing. But it did make me feel better to see the ultrasound and know for sure that all was well.

I did several times and ended up with a normal healthy baby. Your cervix is really soft at this staage and can be easily injured. Good luck.

Thanks guys. That is re-assuring. It was pretty minimal too. I've got an appointment soon so I think I'll just wait it out as long as it doesn't happen again. I have been coughing/sneezing quite a bit!
