Gestational Diabetes at 8 weeks!
With DS1, I didn't get GD, but did with DS2 around 30 weeks I developed it and then with DS3, I developed it at 33 weeks. This time, I already failed my 1-hour and 3-hour tests.
Very depressing!! At least I won't gain much weight this pregnancy!!(8) (6) (2) (1)

I guess there are worse things that could happen! DS3 was pretty scary...he was 9lbs at 37 weeks (when he was born) and I had excess fluid so I was so scared for my water to break!
I guess now I actually have a shot at a 6lb baby!!(8) (6) (2) (1)

I didn't have GD but I did have excess fluid- polyhydraminosis with both of the boys and I had to be monitored constantly! It is such an awful feeling! I'm so sorry you are going through this!!

Thanks everyone! Nice to vent about it all! I guess another positive is that I will get tons of u/s so plenty of chances to see the baby. Trying to schedule my 13 week one tomorrow!

How much did your babies weigh? did they think you could have had GD? when they first told me I had polyhydraminosis with DS3, they really freaked me out b/c they said it really only happens with gestational diabetes or if the baby has some type of defect. I was so relieved when it was the diabetes, but not relieved when he was 9 lbs at 37 weeks! CRAZY!!

I successfully had my girl nearly 3 years ago thanks to an awesome plan from atomic. I have just started on Ozempic to try and lose some weight due to PCOS and it’s working well. Does anyone...
