Weight loss during early pregnancy
I have only just got my BFP but I am just wondering if weight loss which is due to healthy eating and moderate exercise is ok during earlier pregnancy before baby has made my weight increase? I have around 50-60 lbs to lose and have already lost some due to being on LE diet so really would just like to continue healthy eating now that I am in the habit of eating less but due to the fact that is a reduction in my pre TTC calorie intake I will probably continue to lose a bit of weight to start with, is that ok?
What is the recommended calorie intake for a pregnant woman?
I want to make sure baby gets enough without overeating!
Thank youTough times don't last,

I personally, after much research, do not recommend losing weight deliberately during pregnancy. I do not think it's healthy for the baby and nor does it end up limiting weight anyway because your body will probably just ramp up the hunger later in pregnancy anyway and hold onto every pound you eat. (studies have been done and found very similar amounts of weight gain between women who restricted food and those who did not)
Yes, I know there are people out there who have done it and couldn't help it if they had severe morning sickness. But my research indicates that ideally it is best to not lose weight when pregnant.!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
