Help am freaking myself out
Could anyone help or offer any reassurance?
I was looking at one of my scan photos from 12 weeks and 3 days and I noticed what I think is the nuchal fold looks massive, so now am freaking out, I have tried to measure it myself and it's just making the whole situation worse. Any thoughts? DSC_0482.JPGDSC_0482.JPG
Thanks in advance!

Probably just the picture Hun. If it was worryingly big, they would have pointed it out as it is measured at the nuchal scan. I don't think it looks particularly big anyway.

Aw even so Hun, if it looked notably big to them (and the sonographers would notice if it was big), they would probably have referred you for som testing. The younger the baby is the bigger the fold seems to image. If you google you will see what a concerning nuchal fold looks like, it is pretty extreme. You can get a private nuchal scan up to 14 weeks if you are very worried but I honestly think it's fine.

To be honest, I think the scan pics/angles are a bit shoddy so I really wouldn't wind yourself up about it, poor job on your sonographer's part!xx

The difference in nuchal folds is in millimeters and tenths of millimeters and not something you can see with the naked eye! That is how babies are supposed to look at that gestation. Plus, they can blow up and shrink down the picture so things on the pic are not life size.

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
