Bleeding early pregnancy gender
Hi
I'm currently 9 weeks with my second and I have experienced brown spotting had a scan and no explanation . I had the same with ds1 and all was fine.
My question is if you had bleeding in your pregnancies did you have 2 of the same gender I'm wondering if this is how my body deals with boys lol. I had a mmc in March and had no bleeding.
Thanks
X

I wish I could help but I have only one DS for now. I experienced prolonged light bleeding at 8weeks with my DS but no bleeding with subsequent pregnancies and they are girls. I really can't say if the bleeding was as a result of the gender or because it was the first pregnancy.
Did you sway blue with this pregnancy?
Congratulations on your pregnancy and happy months ahead.

I had bleeding with all three of my kids and I have all boys. With DS1 I had bleeding around 7-8 weeks then again around 27/28 weeks. With DS2 I had bleeding around 22 weeks and with DS3 I bled from 6-7 weeks. It was never explained in any of my pregnancies. However, I don't believe bleeding has anything at all to do with gender. I've known plenty of people that had both boys and girls that had bleeding during pregnancy. I've been on these boards a long time and have never noticed a pattern with it.

No I wanted to sway pink but we didn’t get a chance as I fell pregnant straight away. I have read it is more common to bleed with boys however I do know people can bleed with girls. I’m just wondering if it’s my bodies reaction to carrying males as my research has mostly been women who bleed have the same gender babies and don’t bleed with the opposite so thought I’d ask you ladies

This has nothing to do with a baby's gender. There can be bleeding and spotting in a pregnancy of either gender.

There isn't a pattern. Even if something happened to you symptomwise in a previous pregnancy it doesn't tell you what your baby's gender is. My two most similar pregnancies were my girl and my second boy, and my other three boy pregnancies were all very different from those two and each other.

I don’t believe it’s a symptom per say for me as bleeding can be caused by many
Things I just read it was more common in boys and subsequent pregnancies and I just put the two together for me as I had it with my first boy was just looking for peoples experiences. I’m hoping for a girl so was hoping it’s not the case anyway but thank you for your replies

2 weeks before. Keep in mind that many people think they actually sway blue and WANT to be on them for their sway. OPK are fallible. We use them because it's the best technology we have, but...
