Did my doctor slip? 😆
So a little back story, one of my daughters had a tumor when she was born, another and cysts in her ovaries, so I get extra ultrasounds when pregnant. The tech knew I didn’t want to know the the gender, did the ultrasound, went and got the doctor, the doctor came in did a quick check and said “no tumors or ovarian cysts”. Did he slip and tell me the gender? All my guesses for my nub have been boy, so I sort of just figured I was having a boy.

Not necessarily. A boy wouldn’t have ovarian cysts either. LOL

Normally I say "nah they just say whatever" but I would be somewhat suspect of that particular phrasing, I must admit.
Then again, I have seen doctors say literally the most insensitive things, like after my ultrasound with DS 4, when my doc, knowing I was hoping for a girl, came into the office and JOKED "so it looks like it's a girl". So possibly it's just that he doesn't think about it with any sensitivity whatsoever and is reassuring you that the same problem isn't happening again.

I have never met this doctor before so I have no idea if he has some sort of sense of humor, I don’t even know if the tech told him I don’t want to know the gender. If everyone wasn’t so sure it was a boy nub I would be positive it was a slip, but I have received 100% big votes

Yeah, I don't mean to imply he's joking, just that doctors (as illustrated by my fairly unbelievable experience) really are completely clueless about gender stuff and so I can see him looking at the medical records, seeing "history of ovarian cysts" and being like "well this baby doesn't have any of THOSE"
Now that you mention you don't even KNOW the doc, it seems even more possible he just threw that out there based on medical history and not baby gender. Whereas if you knew the doctor I could see it going the other way.

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
