I agree you should use OPKs alongside the CBFM. I've used it for around 7-8 cycles in total and had 3 cycles where it missed the peak but OPKs picked it up

I get very bloated in the 2ww - that's caused by progesterone levels rising

YES I get insane when I O and also very hungry (I think that's partly why I have boys!) I often have "PMS" if you can call it that, for a week starting right before O. When I have months like that, the whole week before my period I'm normal, again if you can call it that. LOL.

Oh yay congratulations! ... and you have as much a chance of a girl as everybody else so try and enjoy your pregnancy and cross that bridge when you get to it :D
