Does IUI sway?
DH and I have been TTC for almost a year now. Just started with an RE in January, and have taken Femara for the past 3 cycles. Since the Femara alone didn't do the trick, we are thinking of doing IUI, but wondering if this sways boy? Does anyone know?
Also, aside from diet, which sway factors would be important to do with IUI? I'm thinking maybe Benadryl?
TIA!

I'm sure Atomic will reply more thoroughly when she reads this but I don't think you should do anything else to sway if you're doing IUI because you need to be as fertile as possible to stand a chance of it working. In theory it would sway blue because you're by-passing lots of the things which sway pink (CM etc.).

IUI does tend to sway blue but if you need it to conceive, you just gotta go for it!
Please don't do anything like antihistamines that will cut down on your odds of conception. For successful IUI, you need lots of healthy sperm and lots of good fluid for them to move thru to find the egg. RAtes of pg with IUI are not sky high to begin with and you can't do anything that will interfere in that.
With IUI, I would do LE Diet and possibly take Vitex/SP for 6 weeks to month BEFORE your IUI, then stop them on CD 1 and start your Clomid or Femara on CD 3 or whenever they tell you to start it. DON'T take vitex/SP when you're taking Clomid, Femara, or injectibles. Just by taking them the month before you do your IUI, it helps to change your hormonal profile and make you more pink friendly.
