Just a question about 12 week scans and getting a good nub shot, is it best to get the scan done at 12 weeks from LMP or 12 weeks from ovulation (gestational age)
they always add 2 weeks on to your dates, so I am currently 5 weeks pregnant but only 3 weeks since ovulation.
They take it from LMP so yeah they would say you are 5 weeks now. I have never been able to get my head around it either!

I would go at 13 weeks.
I agree with NBP - my 13 week scans with DS 4 and DD were both quite obvious when compared to the 12 week pics that people post.

That "angle of the dangle" site says 12 weeks gestational age, so 14 weeks after LMP, is optimal.
