TTC Girl - June 2012

I couldn't find a June thread so i started one :)

AF showed 4 days early so Im a June TTC Girl....

I posted the below as a separate post in the private sections, but if you don't see it and have some input please help with my sway for this month....i really need help....

So after our 4th failed cycle DH is really impatient and just wants to get pregnant.

The sway so far has been
LE Diet
Vitex
Peppermint Tea
LR for DH
Rephresh
Zrytec
Sylk (dropped for last 2 months)
DH HOT baths (dropped last cycle)
i DONT jump and Dump - in fact i lie there for 30mins with pelvis elevated.
8-10 FR followed by 4-5 DTD.
The DTD schedule has been pretty much: O-2, O-1, O, O+1, O+2.


DH is convinced that we have failed because of all the FR. He says that when we DTD it just dribbles out.

So how should we structure the BD so as to still try and have a good sway??

Generally we DTD once of twice a week, DH is happy to have increased frequency of DTD around O...but no FR, no 'wasted' sperm at all. He has said that if he ejaculates its gong in me and staying in me!

Please give me some advice as I am really at a loss as to what to do.
Im worried that if he doesn't FR and we just DTD say 5-6 times, because of the lack of FR we will definitely have boy sperms.

He also wants me to drop the refresh.

Any suggestions / recommendations are welcome as Im lost as to what to do this month.

Lassie, how long have you been using the Vitex? I know that Atomic has said it can act almost like birth control after a certain point -- she stopped taking it right before the cycle she got pg with her dd. As for me, I had been taking it for 3 months straight, then another three months of af thru o, so I dropped it this cycle too (altho I do not know the result yet). Maybe something for you to consider?

Hi Girls, mind me jumping in? I am ttc pink too. Am currently in the 2ww (3dpo). I dropped sylk and zyrtec this month, as haven't managed to get pg last 2 cycles. BD'd 0-3,0-2, 0-1. No FR as my hubbie is over 40, and i am late 30's! Need some swimmers to get there! I O'd early this cycle, but still managed a bit of a cut off! Now just the waiting game.
Lassie so sorry to hear AF came early (I know the feeling) - Maybe it is the FR making it harder to get pg? I'm no expect of course! But in my case, both my last pregnancies were 1 shot wonders!!! And now I'm having trouble even with multiple attempts each month! Only time will tell this month! If i don't get pg this month, then next month I am going to have 1 attempt only and see if that works!!

I have been on the vitex for 5 months, AF-O. (its actually done wonders for my af, its lighter then ever, and no cramps!)
I never knew it could almost be birth control like!
I reckon i will go one more cycle with the vitex, and then drop that aswell if the we fail again.

DH is convinced its the FR that is making us fail....and there is no convincing him otherwise. He is flat our refusing to do it any more (a bloke refusing to have a w*** or be given a couple of b*** jobs- who'd have thought? LOL)

CD13 and I am just winging it this time. NO OPK's, NO TEMPING, & NO MONITOR...crazy huh? I am trying to use my cervix, CM, & pains to pinpoint O based on my past charts. This morning I had EWCM which I hardly ever have, but this is the cycle after stopping Clomid, so maybe that is why. I am thinking I am Oing today or tomorrow, so attempting tonight with Preseed. It will be a miracle if I get a BFP in June....

I experienced the same thing. My period was astonishingly light ... like, one tampon a day for three days, and that was it. It started to make me concerned that maybe a hearty enough uterine lining wasn't building up (or something) and preventing anything from sticking?

Here's Atomic's personal Vitex piece from her stealth pink sway info: Taking Vitex for 6 months before I conceived 2 W on, 2 W off. I wasn't doing this for swaying, it was because I had no sex drive (which was one major sticking point between DH and I) and I had read vitex could help - if anything, it made it worse!! I stopped it the month before I got pg firstly because my sex drive was SO low it was nonexistent and I was pretty much fed up with DH anyway (really, he sounds horrible but he's a LOT better now!) Also, the month before and then the month I stopped the vitex, I had what seemed like it might have been a lame attempt at AF - a little bit of dark blood that lasted for a day but I didn't really think it was a true AF and thought I probably hadn't ovulated those two months, even tho I was crampy and had some EWCM - that had happened at other times when I was BF and they were fake Os. I was sort of concerned that my lining needed to slough off but the V was preventing it from happening, and so I stopped the vitex thinking I would have a real AF.

And I know that Atomic has cited some instances where women took Vitex for awhile and then, the month after they stopped, they conceived their DDs. Again, I don't know for me yet (I'm on CD14, but I have quite long luteal phases of 17 to 18 days, so I'm not due for AF yet), but it certainly might be something for you to consider if June doesn't work (but hopefully it does!!). My thought was, heck, if our noble leader Atomic did it (took Vitex and then dropped it), it can't be a bad strategy! :)
