I was just browsing amazon for supplements and sway related stuff and when I typed in rephresh I saw these. I know that tampons can't be used dry but would these be helpful in any way for a pink sway? They lower ph so could they be used after an attempt? Sorry if I'm asking a stupid question!
No, not a stupid question at all and many people have asked the exact same thing.
PLEASE do not use dry tampons after an attempt for ANY reason. The risk of toxic shock syndrome is very high if you use tampons when your VJ is dry.
If you like, you may wish to use them while on AF. They may have some benefits in terms of preventing yeast infections.
I used RePhresh tampons last AF and I thought I was getting a YI. I have never had one, but I thought with the RePhresh every 3 days and then using the tampons that I was causing an infection. So, that is good to know they may actually help!!
I started drinking cranberry and yogurt and it seemed to go away in a few days. Maybe it was all in my head!
You can get a YI any time you alter the pH in your vagina, both more acidic and more alkaline, unfortunately. For most people, keeping the VJ acidic prevents and can even cure yeast but it doesn't always work out that way.

OK...TMI warning! Does Rephresh come out a little clumpy after a few days?
It does at first but for many people it goes away over time.

No I would never use a tampon dry <shudders at the thought, yuck!> I was more wondering if anyone had used them with distilled water/lime etc after an atempt, but to be honest I think I'm going to avoid anything like that and keep it simple focus on diet, lowering DH's sperm count and maybe using some rephresh. I think all the ph taking and adding different gels and lubes would stress me out too much (though I'm quite lucky that DH is happy to do anything I ask for a sway, shame he can't do more of the hard work ;0) )
I personally prefer people skip the lime tampons anyway, because they're really useless - the sperm leave the vagina very soon after ejaculation (between 5 and 15 minutes) and so it's pretty much pointless to hang around worrying about lime tampons for hours after BD. It's a great way to raise stress and testosterone levels too. :p
Plus, if the pH theory was even true and X sperm "loved" super low pH, then the X sperm would just stay in the VJ with the lime douche anyway!! if they love low pH that much, why would they ever leave??
