I remember reading on IG that this year would be a bad year to conceive a girl because of Solar flares. I had a ton of pregnant friends this year, I think around 15 and out of all of them only 2 were boys!!! Was this true for anyone else? I swear everyone conceived girls in 2011/2012
Hi,I'm sure it's just a coincidence. But I did notice that around me people are having girls. Only my best friend who currently pregnant with a boy but she conceived this year. There is much more to it than just solar flares.. I think,people who wishing for certain gender tend to notice this things more( me including lol).
I think the solar flares of bogus, and obviously it isn't true since IG said more boys would be born this year :D While I agree gender desire does definitely make you more aware of the the opposite gender being born, I have never seen so many girls. It of course means if I ever get pregnant, I will be having a boy :D
It actually seems to be a boy wave around me, aside from the ladies on here I know that have swayed girl successfully.
I know people having both boys and girls (but I know a LOT of people!) I agree totally Kasey, I think this is just another nail in the coffin of the "solar flare" business.
Its a boy year around me...but I tend to notice it just goes in trends. We will have a "boy outbreak" and then a girl one. So far I have been in two huge boy rings. Literally eight of my friends had sons around the same time I had my younger boy. Not a single girl in the bunch (sept-dec of last year). But I have not seen a girl boom since that one. So I don't know, maybe we are due for one around here.
