I'm worried I messed up my sway :(

We were planning on TTC next month. My DH hasn't had much of a sex drive as of late so we barely have sex. He went to the doctor and found out his testosterone was low so he started taking supps for it.
Now comes the TM part...well last night he was in the mood so we DTD w/ no protection. I was just completely caught off guard and well with the amount of sex we've been having (or lack there of) i didn't turn him down or take a moment to get some type of protection. So after we were done he mentioned how I had a lot of CM….and then I realized that I am probably Oing soon. So this morning I took a OPK test and it was positive, but not as dark as the reference line. And now i'm getting some pretty strong ovulation pains on my right side.

So does having sex the night before a pos opk give you a pretty good chance of getting pregnant? I wouldn't mind getting pregnant sooner than planned, but im bummed because I didn't do everything I wanted to for my sway.

I would think there is a very strong chance. I got pregnant last having sex 3-4 days before ovulation. Sometimes things happen for a reason and if you are pregnant it will still be very exciting!

I do agree that somethings just happen for a reason. My husband is usually out of town about twice a week so I was worried that he might not be home when I ovulated. This week he just happened to be home everynight so maybe it was just meant to be.....even if its not what we had planned.

I guess i will just have to wait and see.

GL if it is meant to be, it's meant to be. With DD#2 it was 5 days before O, so very possible. The others were all closer to O. Depending on what gender you want, oh duh blue. Anyway, definitely keep your blood sugar med. to high in the 2 ww. I know that can't change what gender it may be, but boys are more easily able to implant in high glucose levels

It gives you a good shot of getting pregnant and if you had a lot of CM, that may be a good sign for blue!!! Sending you tons of blue dust!!

Well now that I read this I realize its kind of a silly question. I guess I was thinking that since you can ovulate 24-36 hours after a pos opk that the chances were slim.

I thought since DH doesn't release that often most of his sperm would be old/slower and wouldn't make it.

You both were right though. I got a BFP a few days ago. Its actually pretty shocking to me because it took 6 months to get pregnant with my first and we were DTD way more often. This time wasn't really planned and happened on the first try.
