Gender Swaying Diet -- Is there a point besides PH?
With the diet, is there a reason the diet is needed other than changing PH? What is you have a perfect PH for the gender you are aiming for already?
We are TTC a girl. My CM PH is almost always 4.5 for the last 2 months. It does get to about 6 right before O (when I have EWCM) but I don't DTD then. We aim for O+12. Plus now that I'm on clomid even my "fertile" days before O I still have PH of 4.5.
My husband on the other hand has a PH of NINE. And we tried the diet and supplements with him (and will continue to do so) BUT his PH is still nine, so the diet doesn't seem to do anything for him. Unless there is a point to the diet ASIDE from PH?
I am a little worried because I tried the diet and I started getting chest pains, so I stopped the diet and the pain went away. Could have been a coincidence. Doctor told me not to go on anymore crash diets. (Of course I didn't feel comfortable telling her why I was on the diet). (At first I thought it was the Clomid, but it went away when I started eating normal again.)
But from what I heard diet is the most important sway factor. Then is it hopeless for me, or will I be okay since my PH is already low?
PS to anyone on the diet: don't let my experience put you off; I have other medical problems and the diet I think was affecting that, and a normal healthy person without my health problems won't have that problem. I know a LOT of people who use the girl diet without any problems at all.
