ph test has 2 squares tell me exactly what am I looking for??

So I know I'm supposed to put cm on it but there are 2 squares, are they both suppsoed to change to the same color?? one stayed the same and the other changed a little. I will try one w/ lemon to see what it does but the 2 squares threw me off and these strips didn't come w/ any directions.
