Coffee yes or no???
Is coffee good for a girl sway? i NEVER did drink it with all of my boys. But i am this time around. I've seen so many women drink it with their successful girl sways but then again hear some drink it and have boys. Is it really acidic to the body? Weird cause i actually crave it now while swaying LOL.

Yes, I don't know if it's acidic or whatnot but higher intake of caff has seemed to sway pink for people. This was one of the first things I noticed back on IG not adding up, because tons of the pink mamas were coffee junkies including my mom, stepmom, and MIL. I believe caff lowers overall fertility and sways that way.
I was drinking the highest caff intake by FAR when I got DD as was DH.

Thanks Atomic! my mother also did drink a lot of coffee, has 3 girls:) May i ask what brand you drink?

The cheapest kind I could get my mitts on!

I would be willing to bet it sways pink (skim milk or black coffee only though) due to the fact caffeine blocks the body from absorbing nutrients.
I used to donate blood and when I took up drinking coffee at work and home I tried to donate again and failed the iron levels in the pin prick test. The nurse quizzed me on what had changed in my diet and I told her about starting coffee and also wine more often due to being in the corporate world all of a sudden, and she explained in great detail that both alcohol and caffeine block the body's natural absorption of minerals and continue doing so for HOURS after consumption.
So if LE diet is correct, it's the coffee blocking the nutrients that's swaying pink.
Yay! Finally something I LIKE on the girl diet. Dying here!!

Not sure what I'm having yet but I continued to drink caffeinated drinks while ttc this time and only took folic acid as when I was ttc my first two (both boys) I switched to decaf everything and was taking a prenatal multivitamin. Fingers crossed it helped my pink sway! x

My granmother had 3 girls and my mother had 2 girls. I think coffe sway pink. I didnīt drink coffe when conceived my DS, and plan to drink a minimum of 3 cups/day with aspartame.

Well, some of the info about coffee blocking nutrients has been debunked (it doesn't actually block calcium, they have tested it) but it DOES interfere with iron absorption as does tea! :)

I am really not keen on coffee but am partial to tea, although had been drinking decaff - oops. I have read though that boy Mums seem to be tea drinkers, why is this?

Fantastic, glad it effects iron and not calcium, since that's perfect for pink sway, and if anything my one cheat is some chicken occasionally when I can't avoid it. I am on LE diet but taking some tips where convenient from what I learned on IG (as in not many veggies or acidic fruit). Mainly because for me, I used to eat a very varied and healthy diet full of many acidic fruits and lots of high nutrient vegetables, and high in salt. So both LE and the IG diets seemed to have points in their pink away recommendations that were the opposite of what I naturally do. Also hoping cutting soy milk will be my magic bullet. I drank soy heavily with both my boys!
