I could relate to this because I named DS 3 Tate Deegan (my MIL's maiden name) and DS 4 Marshall Devine (which is my maiden name). A lot of people were not pleased about Marshall Devine.

I realise this is a REALLY old thread. I am just trying to print some things out for DP to read on night shift and came past this.
My cousin had a name similar to this.
Her first sons middle name was Denlyn. Which is the first names of her father and mother den - for dennis and lyn for rosslyn. I always thought that was unique and something very special.
Only rule I have with my kids middle names is, that they must only have one syllable.
