How long does lime douche 'last'?

If I make it up, how long will it last? I.e. before I have to throw it out and make some more?

To be honest i would do it right before you are going to use it - given where your going to stick it the last thing you want is to end up with an infection - you wouldn't drink old water thats been standing

I agree with Mrs. P tho - of any arena you don't want to skimp on, I would be very very careful with that one.

I will mix and leave it for 10 minutes to mix before using it.
I'll clean the bowl with boiling water first as well, as well as the syringe.
I'm assuming if I make it up, I can them put a lime tampon in an hour after BD though? I don't have to make a new batch up for the lime tampon bit?

Yes, that's fine - you may need to make the lime tampon a bit in advance to allow it to get soaked thru.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be careful with the lime tampon, only use it if it's gotten extremely wet. If when you put it in, if it feels at all "dry" (if you've ever used a tampon towards the end of AF you knwo what I mean) then remove it. It's not worth the risk of toxic shock syndrome that comes from using a dry tampon.
