l arginine delays Ovulation??

Hi,

We are swaying for a boy and TTC last month, BFN. I am planning my TTC for this month and I was wondering if I should drop l arginine because it screwed up my O days last month and I am thinking that I may have missed the fertile window.
I am planning to do - 3 green tea every day, 1 V8 juice, 2 lime water, 2 BS drink, folic acid 2400 mg, weight training 3 times a week, carb+protien diet, plan to use preseed and time it close to O. DH is taking zinc, L-arginine, B6, potessium tabs, bananas, BS drink.

I was planning on NO BSF or douching.

What do you guys suggest?

Are you sure it was the l-arginine that messed up your cycle? I think you're only supposed to take it AF to O...

Preseed is great for a boy sway. Prenatal vitamins are great too...

I would drop the larg, I'm pretty sure it dried up cm for previous ladies:agree:

I took fertile cm and I believe it has l-arginine in it and it didn't delay O for me. Before I started swaying I had very regular cycles and usually O'd on the same day all the time. When I started swaying I O'd all over the place. I think alot of it has to do with everything you are trying to change with your body with the supplements and diet. It is also trial and error, if you think it delayed your O then don't use it this cycle and see what happens. I would also add in some fish oil.

Thanks Anchor, ELP and dloui - I am guessing that it is L Arginine ....... I am dropping it. let's see how it goes thsi month. I will add prenatal . I am a vegetarian so do not want to do fish oil. Thanks.

Yeah i had bad experiences with L-Arg, totally put my cycle out of wack and dried me up.

Your hubby can take it if you don't want to waste it!! just be careful because it can cause herpes (cold sores or "below the equator" to flare up.)
