Doing FR and we missed yesterday

So we are on day 10 of FR and I'm due to ovulate in 3 days (I know I know we should have done it for longer, but I had to be realistic!). Today was going to be our last attempt (DH away the next few days anyway). We are both 35.

Anyway, I think it's all got a bit <ahem> much for DH and he missed yesterday.

I think the chances of asking him to release twice today is low.

Shall I just leave it this month? So we have a 5 day cut off (although that's how we got DS2, albeit not FR) or go for it again tonight as our last attempt (with then a 2 day gap)?

Any thoughts or opinions appreciated.

The frequency thing is probably the one thing I haven't got to grips with as much (pardon the pun!), so would appreciate any thoughts. Thank you

Also I am doing jump and dump each time (which I can also try the SEM technique tonight if we do BD again to try to reduce it that way too)?

Also doing lime douche, so I'm not stressing too much about yesterday missed day. Just wanted to get others opinions on whether I should call it a month now and not DTD tonight.

10 days of FR is PLENTY!

it is largely up to you - if you feel good about your sway in other ways and you are in a hurry to conceive, I'd go for it, and if not, then see what happens with your attempt at 5 DBO.

If you did lime douche and J and D with your attempt 5 DBO, that's going to make it pretty unlikely you will conceive from that. So if you want to be in with at least some chance, do another attempt, if not, leave it.

Thank you for posting Atomic. I think we'll go for it again tonight. I'll do J&D and SEM too, which will lower it. To be honest, I feel so dry with the lime douche and Zirtek too, that I'm not sure I'm actually doing enough at the moment to let myself get pregnant. It's only our first month, so I'll let things drop with time. But given everything else is 'ticked', then I'll go for it tonight.

He actually thinks he couldn't 'finish' off last night, because he felt like there were no swimmers left - is that likely? The amount certainly seems so little now when I go to the loo afterwards.

It's def. possible and has happened to several guys.

Thanks Atomic, you're such a source of knowledge! He goes off tomorrow lunchtime, so maybe we'll get one last attempt in the morning too. Having to be away with his work is such a pain! ;)
