Theory behind low sodium swaying pink?

What the theory is behind lower sodium for swaying pink? Just curious.

It's by far the hardest aspect of dieting. I've cut out meat completely and lowered my caloric intake, but the salt gets me every time! :)

So don't worry about it. Atomic doesn't believe there's much of a sway effect anyways. Many of us have DEFINITELY fallen off the sodium bandwagon! LOL!

Wow how interesting! I've been totally stressing about eating just over 1000mg of salt It's really the hardest thing to keep to a limit. Good to know I don't need to worry about it as much as I have been.

For those who aren't Dream Members, the theory behind sodium swaying pink is that the French Gender Diet people found some studies done in marine animals (very primitive animals) that if you dumped various minerals in their tanks it altered the gender ratio. They then jumped to rather a big conclusion that this meant that would hold true for all animals and humans as well and set out to prove that. The problem is that they attempt to prove this by comparing different diets with different mineral content, and different diets not only have different mineral content, they have different EVERYTHING content. It's my belief that it's the diets themselves that are swaying and not the minerals, the minerals are totally a coincidence, and the French and IG Diets sway because they're more Low-Everything for girls, High Everything for boys.

All mammals and all humans have an almost insatiable taste for salt and it is pretty unlikely to me that salt is swaying very much at all because most cultures around the world eat a ton of the stuff and almost all foods have a ton of potassium as well. Dairy foods have gobs of sodium and potassium.

I got my DD eating plenty of salt - I didn't watch my intake at all - and very little calcium. After a failed sway where I cut way back on salt and took high dose cal-mag. :/
