I think that's a great idea although do take into account the amount of protein and fat in the cheese.
According to this site http://www.food.com/library/swiss-cheese-612 it has 82 mg of potassium a cup so the amount in a 1/2 slice would be very small.
There is also cranberry sauce, if you like that. I put a recipe for a yummy, no sodium cran sauce in the girl recipe thread (although I need to make a proper cookbook).
