is there somewhere on this site that i can get an email notification anytime someone responds to my posts or threads?
Yes. You can choo to subscribe to your threads. I'm on my phone now but when you either create a new thread OR just reply to one, there is an option that you can check to subscribe to it. You can choose to be notified via email and/or have it show up here on your profile(look top right of main forum page). I'll post more when u get home later.

Click on Go Advanced then scroll down to Subscription. Check the box and you can select which option you want to use for notification.
