Confused - can I salvage the month?

Im on CD 19 - I normally ovulate on day 18/19 (although I do have the odd weird cycle).

We abstained this month from CD 6 to CD16 when we BD as DH was away on CD17 and I didnt want to risk a positive OPK on CD17.

I still have no positive OPK :( - I'm using the clearblue digital ones but no smiley face - despite a dark line yesterday.

Here is my chart - have I ovulated already despite neg OPKs - what can I do to salvage the month?

We havent BD since CD16 but DH released last night and this morning to try and lower sperm count in preparation for another attempt - if I ever get a smiley positive OPK.

What shall I do? :worry:

I would be shocked if you've ovulated.

Are you still taking vitex and saw palmetto? If so drop them.

You can def. salvage the month, it's quite common for O to be slightly late while swaying.

I'm not taking SP this month at all - taking Vitex though so I won't take that today. We bd yesterday afternoon and last night though - I hope the FR the night and morning before was enought to keep sperm count low! :worry:

even clearblue tests can miss the surge if you don't catch the peak of the surge, but your temps don't show a rise yet so you still have time for more BDing

I think vitex was delayed ovulation

Thanks Atomic. I stopped taking Vitex on CD20 - now on CD23 and still no positive OPK or temperature rise. I'm full of cold and taking anything I can get my hands on - Beechams etc which might be why my BBT is lower than previous months? DH has been away so BD has been a bit off - CD16 (after 10 day abstain) then day 19 (but he released CD18 pm and CD19 am). We also BD yesterday afternoon (CD22).

We are having some tests - to check fertility etc - DH drops off a sample tomorrow morning (so no BD tonight) and I have had a blood test on CD 6 - then have to have another on Thursday CD 25 (although I won't have ovulated so not sure what it will show).

Maybe I should just write this month off?

Update - positive OPK today at 7.30am and a temp rise - should we BD again tonight or will we be too close to O. Lost a bit of faith over the last few days and so diet went out yesterday - still 1500 cals but chocolate and cake in there! Should we just rely on Mondays attempt just in case Ov day is today? That would be 2 day cut off?

Neg OPK yesterday at 1pm.

I think yesterday was most likely OV day looking at your chart (although could have been early hours of today), unless the temp drops back down lower again tomorrow.

well, I don't believe in timing so I'd probably have done an attempt, but there are not right or wrong answers in swaying. fx for you!!!!

Thanx all - we didn't do another attempt - neg OPK today and temp has dropped so ovulation must be today - 3 day cut off which will mean BFN. I'm def having a break after this cycle and plan to go back on the BCP and try again around May time. I would like to purchase a plan - should I do that when AF arrives or is it better to wait until nearer my attempt?
