I can remember reading a thread where it was discussed that from early scan where baby is still very small, gender could be guessed on if the spine was curled or straight.
Can you help me find it?

You mean the entire Ultrasound forum? The nub guess- the NT scan around 12-13 weeks is when we can see a "nub" that is used to GUESS at the baby's gender. It is just a guess and the closer to 14 weeks, the better! You can have a CVS then too and that is 100%!
No, it was guessing on the spine rather than the nub and was earlier than 12 weeks. More when baby looks like this:

Perhaps I imagined it. It was based on if the baby was curled up (like above) or laying straight.
I remember it too. Ncbeachy girl started talking about it. We compared some pictures and didn't find it to be very accurate. It was boys are more curled up before 10 weeks and girls are straight I believe. Something like that! My boy was curled up but I think Ncs pic was straight and was a boy too.
Never heard of that one before! The one we guess on actually has a scientific study behind it!
That was what I wanted to look at, whether it had any study done on it. Maybe someone could still find it.
I tried googling it and I dindnt find anything hmmmmmm
