where O where are you!?! mid-cycle spotting and erratic BBT :(

ok, so I normally have longer cycles - 33-46 days, and usually O about 9 days prior to AF. Thus, have a LPD. I was prescribed Clomid for this. Now, I am waiting for my next AF to start the meds and TTC, but I'm on CD 18 and have had spotting for the last two days (today being the third day!). It's no where near like a normal period, but I've never had mid-cycle spotting before. I heard it could be a sign of ovulation, which would be great, but I've never had that before & all of my OPKs have been Neg. Also, I chart temps, track mucous, cerv position, etc AND usually can feel when I ovulate. I always have a very pronounced temperature shift after O, but this month my temps are super erratic (also something I've never seen - for me). Do you think I'm having an anovulatory cycle? I don't think my "spotting" is AF, but I'm just all around confused. I called my MD yesterday but never heard back. Anyone have any ideas/advice/experience?

It sounds like an anovulatory cycle to me. I'd just keep temping to see what happens.

Ay chance you could be pregnant? Spotting could be implantation, I would test if there's any possibility....

Thanks girls. I did take a preg test just for fun , but neg. my temps aren't up though anyway- only one here and there. If implantation it may not show up for a couple days. I'll wait it out..
