Lavender is for the IG "ions" which I don't believe in. It certainly can't hurt anything and it may even help relax you.
Peppermint tea is for ladies who are not doing saw palmetto. You can't do both.
Oh really? I've bought a lot of peppermint tea since it seemed it was what everything is doing. Is one better than other to do re sp vs pepp tea. Cos pepp tea will be more enjoyable I'm sure but I'm not overly fussed if sp is more effective.
Is there other herbal teas we can drink cos I know std tea is out...?
This is helpful :) I didn't know peppermint can replace sp. I can't (dare not ) take sp as I'm on thyroxine so will be great as I like peppermint tea. How many cups do we have to drink to get the same benefits?
This is something I have pondered too, how many cups and when to drink them?
I have also been wondering about the ions. My sis is having a girl and I notice she has a few iodiser around her house and in her room, she paints her nails ( gets it done at the salon = even more exposure to acetone) . So I wonder if it does add to her 'sway' . I'm not sur rig she is actively swaying but her other kids are allergic to air lol that's why she has so many iodiser around the place
I'm on thyroxine too (due to having my thryroid removed) and never knew you couldn't take SP, was actually going to look at taking it!! Wow interesting. Thanks for sharing that. :)
As for the PT I would be interested to know too how many cups to drink and when to drink it.
I use peppermint tee, AS advised me to drink 2-3 cups a day, AF to o only. It is thought to lower T levels, however it 'may' increase estrogen levels which isn't ideally what you want to sway pink which is why SP is better I think. I'm using peppermint tea because I have low estrogen levels anyway which has stopped me conceiving before.
Anyone else feel free to chime in here as I'm still new to all this and could be wrong :)
Thanks peppermint!
I am also on thyroxine and Atomic advised me not only to avoid Saw Palmetto, but also to stay away from Peppermint tea. It is thought that it can affect the thyroid and we don't know exactly how, so it is best to stay away from it to avoid unpredictable results.
