Struggling with checking CM ph using strips

Hi,

I am trying to check the ph of my CM so that I know what Im dealing with having just embarked on the blue sway diet.

I have read that it has to be tested from around the cervix itself, as the stuff that comes out in your pants (sorry tmi!) can be acidified by the vaginal fluids. Im actually feeling scared to attempt to get to my cervix with a strip! anyone else had problems? I cant imagine being able to do it.

Is that weird?

Is there any other way I can do it?

You don't insert the strip - definitely not.

Have you done cervical checks before? You just do the same but hook a finger slightly, sweep off the CM and then swipe it onto the strip.

Try not to touch anything on the way in and out other than your cervix if you can :agree:

thanks True Blue. No I've never done any checks before thats why I feel a bit nervous and dont really know what Im feeling for. To be honest, inserting my fingers makes me go a bit funny, I dont like doing it (I know I sound a bit mad but I find it a bit icky!)

Oh well, all in the name of ttc I suppose!

If you do diet and use Preseed and do things to improve your husband's sperm health, it's ALL good and you can just trust that your pH is going to go up to a good level.
