How frequent does frequent release have to be? Eg, 3x a day or just everyday until o ?

Dh is 42 and we've abstain for 7 day then look at his swimmers under microscope. There are lots of crazy swimmers going in circles and some damage ones, though I'm not sure if I was the one damaging them with the stick I use to put them on the slide. So, after reading that article by atomic about dangers of abstaining I'm thinking I have to use FR method but no way we could Dtd 3 times a day and I don't think dh would self release 3 times a day either. We could possible do everyday unti

I believe its something like 12-14 days in a row of once a day

We were advised 7-10 days frequent release before the first actual attempt in the fertile period (not before actual o day). We are doing one release each day but I'm sure you could do more, although it will likely make numbers lower so lessen your chance of conception.
