I Am Practically Sucking On a Salt Cube Does This Mean Boy???

I'm hoping there are ladies out there who craved salty and still had a girl!!! I'm barely even pregnant but I am eating everything salty (I cannot get enough Ranch flavored sun flower seeds.....super salty). I have always been a salt lover but it seems to be out of control (with how much salt I want) already! I craved all salty stuff with my boys too! I know a lot of people dont put a lot into cravings, but I just can't get enough salt. Could it be because of my light sway and how I have tried to cut back on salt for over 10 weeks? I sure hope that is the case.

Yes, I went through a stage of craving salt in early pregnancy this time around. It's balanced out now and not really craving salt at all or very little. I think it could be that after being on the girl diet our bodies are trying to reach a healthy balance with salts in our bodies. I think you are still in with a good chance.

i ate plenty of salty stuff and one of my main cravings was mustard which I rarely even like.

Go slow on it tho - it's not good to go from low to sky high sodium in only a few days.

I would have thought salt cravings are more to do with making up for LE diet than anything else! Your body needs it! But like atomic said go easy where you can, spread the love over a few days rather than binging. (Says me, about to binge!)

I craved salt in the first tri with all of my babies (2 DS & now pregnant with DD) Ive never been on the diet though so not sure about that for me. I crave processed salty crap but thankfully it only appears to happen in the first tri. The worst for me was craving/eating salt but HATING drinking water.. I couldnt touch it. I had to have fizzy/juice and it had to be cold cold cold.. It went away around 14 weeks and now I love water again.. crazy!!! I never used to drink anything else but water before I got pregnant so it was really bizarre but it used to make me sick.

Hmm, I don't think it means much one way or another, TBH. With my boys I craved savoury and sweet - go figure!

Last pregnancy it was Tim Horton's doughnuts all the way. I also had issues gaining weight then, lucky me. Somehow I get the feeling that's so NOT gonna be a problem this time 'round!
